The FAA cases for the building were filed today. It gained 15' from the 400' we had for it.

The Statesman article is paywalled. What exactly are the changes?

You can generally read any paywalled article by archiving it at archive.is.

Here’s a link to the archived article: http://archive.today/IluIl

Thanks. I have been bypassing paywalls for years like the ABJ. But the Statesman became more of a challenge.

The base is amazing, I wish the stone carried all the way to the top, but we are Austin, not NYC.

From Urbanspace:
• We're proud to announce that the Luminary has passed historical review.
• The city council has unanimously approved the project, bringing us closer to making this vision a reality.
Also:
Construction is slated to start in 2025, with an estimated completion date in 2028.

What is meant by "City Council Approval"? The City Council doesn't actually approve projects. They approve PUDs/Zoning. Was it for a zoning issue in 2023 or early 2024? The site plan was filed in January and has not been updated since February.
