No telling what the future holds for the tree on the lot with Unbarlieveable, but I am certainly glad that the large oak in front of Paseo's (future) restaurant/bar areas is sticking around. I'm not sure there are many other areas in the city with density close to what Rainey has, which also have trees that size.

Agreed, and it would have been great from the street level as well. There's obviously not much you can do about the existence of the convention center creating a gap between things. But in addition to the Marriott, and Hanover on Brazos, that area between Cesar Chavez and 3rd/4th could certainly still use more life (that doesn't take the form of parking garages and vacant restaurants).
