One year ago this month I returned to the U.S. after traveling for 2.5 weeks in Switzerland and France. I started off in the French area of Switzerland for three days (photos
here), then toured around the southeast of France (photos
here). In this thread I’m posting photos I took in Southwest France, which included visits to Montpellier, Palavas-les-Flots (Mediterranean beach resort next to Montpellier), Carcassonne, and Toulouse (home of Airbus).
Montpellier
1. I very much enjoyed my 1.5 day visit to Montpelier. Love the old historic core but it’s also a very lively energetic city with a large university student population.
