1048. Sham Shui Po remains one of the city's poorest and grittiest districts but it is not escaping gentrification. There are a number of new developments although they're not as pencil tower style as Kowloon City.

1058. Construction continues just outside Kowloon station for a new cross-town tunnel that will shorten travel times between east and west Kowloon significantly.

1067. Tai Kok Tsui's gentrification continues with a number of newly-redeveloped highrises. These used to be clustered around Olympic station with connected pedestrian bridges of malls but now even some of the side streets are getting taller.
