Some of those Giallo pics remind me of me 15 years ago.

I'm interested in piqued. In what way do they remind you of you 15 years ago?

I've finally realized why Europeans have no screens. The wasps are still getting in, so I've started leaving one window open and screenless, and the wasps find their way out. I'll have to watch my jungle of houseplants for pests, but it's been worth it thus far.

Two asides...

Damn, 1ajs, your reno life in the north is my personal nightmare.

jeddy1989 and his husband are still stuck in Portugal because their immigrant-related appointments were delayed. They can't come home for the summer or they won't be able to get back. But, the aside for me, BOTH of them HATE Portuguese good. I love it, my parents love it. Dad still raves about the cod dishes and chowders he had there. But these two guys are just disgusting. "It's flavourless. Spicy to them is a pinch of salt. I've never had blander food. Everything tastes exactly the same, like chewing cardboard." lol I don't get it. I've always loved it, and I have decent spice tolerance for a white guy. I can't eat pizza without hot sauce, for example. Prefer the green stuff, Cholula is my fave. The pineapple curry ones that are at every Canadian grocery, the yellow ones, those are ALWAYS WAY too hot for me. So my tolerance is somewhere in between those two.

And third aside... some of the neighbours (in addition to the guy I mentioned previously) clearly know who I am, and likely from this site. I might have to delete my profile here and move lol

I'd think it would be impossible to enjoy living in a country where you hate the food. By that token, I could be happy in almost any world region, maybe even Ireland, but I think that and Scotland, and perhaps Scandinavia, or Russia, might be the worst. When I was a kid I disliked most local food, but absence can make you like it better.

PS - The comment may have confused me, was the Portuguese food too spicy, or too bland??

Today might have been the hottest day of the heatwave at my house. It was over 30 before lunch and stayed over 30 until after supper. High of 31.5 and low of 21.9, extremely humid with the dew point peaking at 24.7.

Erieau tonight

Today was awesome. 30C with humidity felt like 40C.

Pulled out some weeds, trimmed the hedges, then hung out by the pool for a few hours. Hopefully we get a lot this type of heat this summer.

Gotcha. I've been taking city people pictures for 22 years now!

Speaking of that, I never see pictures of yours anymore.

25C with a humidex of 28 and mainly cloudy. At certain moments, clouds were thin enough to let the sun peak through. I have picked the first cucumbers the past few days... the ones that survived that is. Squirrel had the privilege of tasting them first.

Low of 18C this morning during a brief shower.

The warmspot was Windsor, ON at 34.3C

Warmest low was Port Colborne, ON at 22.9C.

Overcast with showers. I got caught in a heavy shower while I was on the Cambie Bridge.
The sun came out for a bit around supper time.

Saturday's high at Vancouver Harbour was 21 C (22 C w/Humidex), the low was 16 C.

I think that you need to consider the idea of publishing a photo book with your most beautiful photos of Vancouver

I always thought it was dangerous for you to post pictures and talk about your neighbors and their drug activities. We can't lose your profile to these people again who destroy their lives and those of others

Oh it's not those types of neighbours. They wouldn't know what Google is b'y. It's normal people.
