Walls come tumbling down…

Hi everyone - first time poster….although I’ve been lurking here for a couple decades now, lol
So many great discussions insights & photos, I’ve always felt a little intimidated…but here goes nothing!
My spouse & I come into CC nearly every weekend & I tend to drag him on a “Hole Tour” to check out the progress on various projects throughout the city - last weekend we stopped by 19th & Sansom to see the demolition progress there… wow!
So exciting to see such considerable action here… of course I worry given the state of sites such as the Midtown Diner Hole (11th & Sansom) or the Wendy’s Hole (11th & Wanut), but Pearl Properties has a strong track record of getting things done, so gonna stay optimistic…
Here are a couple pics I snapped…hope this works!

It's nice that your spouse shares your love for urban hiking and exploring construction progress. I usually do it by myself Not that many cities have as much construction progress as Philly does.
I recommend using imgur for uploading photos, it gives you a link you can embed in a forum post.

"Demo Nearly Done, is Harper Square Coming Soon to 19th & Sansom?"
"we told you to expect that the buildings on 19th Street would disappear but that their facades would remain. That has not occurred as you can clearly see, and we have to imagine that this was due to some combination of structural and/or economic issues. This means that the renderings that we shared before will change somewhat. But here they are, anyway."

Long enough for this thread to see multiple 9-12 month stretches of inactivity, broken by the occasional “any news??!?” post.
