Savanna plans to transform a half-block in West Palm Beach into a new 16-story apartment as soon as next year

Plans to redevelop a 1.56-acre site at 1830 North Dixie Highway and 306 to 336 Pine Street into a 16-story apartment building. The city's Plans & Plats Review Committee will review the project on Jan. 11. Savanna, through WPB Pine Acquisitions, acquired nine parcels for $9.23 million between 2022 and 2023.

The 1830 N. Dixie Highway project will include amenities like a pool, coworking lounge, fitness center, various lounges, game and music rooms, podcast room, sports therapy, yoga, sauna, steam rooms, and a grilling area. Apartments will range from 500 to 1,390 square feet, including studios and one to three-bedroom units.

The project aims for LEED Silver certification. Brian Seymour of Gunster represents Savanna, and Garcia Stromberg is the architect. Construction is expected to start in 14 to 18 months.

The Dirt: Related Cos. of New York pitches WPB hotel to attract bigger convention center clients
https://www.palmbeachpost.com/story/...s/72393982007/

Quote:
There's nothing like a good real estate showdown to get the week started and that's just what's happening in West Palm Beach as Related Cos. of New York pitches a new 400-room Hilton hotel to cater to the Palm Beach County Convention Center. The county, however, wants at least 600 rooms and not a Hilton.

Not that the county has anything against Hilton, but a little competition never hurt anyone, and, maybe some people want the one-touch pancake machine at Holiday Inn Express's continental breakfast. What? Not highfalutin enough? How about a one-touch crêpes machine?
This proposal is at 900 S Rosemary Ave.

I quite like the design. Almost looks as if SHoP designed it.

1101 S. Flagler Drive
https://www.bizjournals.com/southflo...ach-condo.html

Quote:
“The thoughtful design of the Family Church downtown campus plays an instrumental part in creating a distinct West Palm Beach district where a modern and cohesive high functioning church, school, and residences form a quiet yet walkable neighborhood,” stated Bruce Fisher, design principal of KPF.

Gopal Rajegowda, managing partner of Related Southeast, said it would team with Frisbie Group to build two condo towers for about 190 units combined. There would be a 32-story tower and a 28-story tower, each with water views. The tallest tower would be the same height as South Flagler House, so this project wouldn’t be taller than what the city has already approved in the area, he noted.

The developers would help renovate the church, plus build both a new early childhood education building and a K-8 school for the church’s Palm Beach Christian Academy Downtown. There would be a new parking garage to serve both the condos and the church.

The Berkeley, an exquisite new condominium tower set to elevate the residential landscape of West Palm Beach. Following the prestigious footsteps of The Bristol, The Berkeley is being spearheaded by Allan Adelson, co-developer of The Bristol, who aims to deliver high-quality residences at a more accessible price point while maintaining the luxurious feel synonymous with its predecessor.

Rising 25 stories along the scenic Clear Lake, The Berkeley will offer 191 thoughtfully designed units, featuring unobstructed water views and a range of family-oriented residences with two to four bedrooms. Unlike The Bristol, which boasts ultra-luxury units averaging $10 million, The Berkeley will cater to a broader market with prices ranging from $1.7 million to $4 million. This approach targets professional families, particularly those working in West Palm Beach's burgeoning financial sector, who seek luxury living without the extreme price tag. ️
