Seems like they're almost at the bottom since the temporary staircase I think is at a similar count to Fifteen Fifteen though the bottom ladder section was double the length of the current ladder (which is still raised up from the rest of the pit)

The status changes (if the mods are awake) when the first steel goes in and concrete is poured, (often for the tower crane base). Digging the hole doesn't count. (There have been too many stalled holes that stayed that way for years).

Friday morning - July 27, 2024

I think they've reached the 7th and final level. The building core footing still needs to be excavated.

Noticed (Dec 18, 2023) the excavator (someone) was in the Christmas spirit...'Ho Ho'

Installing dowels in this last level along the southside, maybe for tying into a column footing or building core footing ?

Much thanks to George for sharing his tour of Alberni by Kengo Kuma's penthouse suite.

Nice view.

Aren't there plans for dual towers on that empty lot next to it? Whatever happened with that?

Probably on hold like everyone else while they see what happens with the market/financing etc.

Like the Henriquez project on the Rosellen Hotel site west of Denman developers are finally starting to realize those offshore buyers with bags of cash ain't coming back. Nothing to do with interest rates.

I have time tomorrow afternoon, I'll check it out.
We are due for an update for Park and Fifteen Fifteen.
I've been keeping an eye on this traffic cam W Georgia St and W Pender St (at Cardero St) , looking to capture the removal of the excavator in the pit, might get lucky with the heavy lift happening tomorrow, if it hasn't happen yet, we will know better tomorrow.

Good question. Not a soul on site. It's haunting being there.
Uh-oh! oxidization, these shovel have been sitting idle for a week or two.
The core footing still needs to be excavated.

My pics from this afternoon Sep 10, 2024

There's an inspection report from September 9 (the list page says end of August) but it still says "Excavation and shoring ongoing." and nothing about stopping work.

https://plposweb.vancouver.ca/Public...ctId=178831721

I don't think it's related to the CAC contribution payment extension since it was already extended until the Stage 3 permit (above grade work) or December 31st 2024.
