I believe it is on rue St-Jean, looking north-east from Honoré-Mercier. I think the building at the end of the street is the Théâtre Capitole.

yes. Gare Centrale was built over a huge trench. The original exterior finishing plans were denuded of details due to the Great Depression. It was a budget station.

There's not really any ''outcry'' no, look we dont need you guys to understand us, but just accept us the way we are.

Seriously, it would be nice to get rid of it, but the city would come to a gridlock in minutes during the day, nevermind when A20 is closed during the winter and all thru traffic to Gaspésie and New-Brunswick is redirected on it.

It would be more pleasant without it, but as long as there's no alternative, it wouldn't be a responsible move..
