"Redbrick LMD has inked a long-term lease for part of the Washington Navy Yard in Southeast D.C., where it plans a waterfront development likely to include a mix of retail, restaurant and multifamily.
An affiliate of the District-based developer signed the 99-year lease May 31 with the Navy, taking it through May 2123, for a 15-acre site along the Anacostia River walkway closest to the 11th Street bridge, according to a memorandum of ground lease recorded Monday with the D.C.
