Here is a link to city of prince george website showing the design of new replacement Four Seasons pool which will commence construction shortly. Location is the old Days Inn Hotel site between 6th and 7th avenue and between Dominion / Quebec streets and across the street from the new Hyatt Place hotel nearing completion. Design is far better than old pool and will be much more accessible to all users. Thoughts on design??

Like the look of the project from the 7th and Dominion St side. Seems to have a great view of the slide.

Yes, I think it will be a nice new addition to downtown. Here is an update / link for the new Hyatt place hotel under construction across from new pool site. Not spectacular, but at least it has some height.

New pool looks great! All I can think of though is the amount of water from such a large roof surface being directed to a single point. Curious what that design has spec'd for handling that?

Here is an update for the Hyatt hotel in PG which had its ribbon cutting ceremony a couple days ago. Went up quickly due to its modular construction.

Hey guys. Just giving link to webcam showing progress of the New Pool in PG

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FcWyOHHUA8k

Also in the middle of the picture where you see the blank gray wall just beyond pool is a new 4 story condominium starting construction. Haven't found any renders for it yet, but will post if I find.

Here is an update for the new student residences that are located next door to the public library and Courtyard Marriot. Hopefully will add more vibrancy to the downtown with this as well as the other recent additions in condos being built downtown.

New proposal for PG. Was some opposition but most likely will go through. This building is in addition to several other new developments that have completed / under construction or proposed within a mile of each other along Foothills Boulevard

https://www.princegeorgecitizen.com/...earing-5759304

Also, here is the new pool under construction. Opening date has been delayed until October (month delay), but coming along nicely

It's amazing how PG can get a new pool but we can't in Victoria in spite of always voting NDP here Makes me think your municipal politicians are smarter than ours

Hello, has this project progressed much? I was reading on the pg council webpage that a development under review gives it the same address as the Student Residences, but is for Seniors. Is the student residences not going ahead? Any info? Thanks.

I was just about to ask the same question, but in reality there isn't a lot going on with the exception of a some industrial projects. The biggest thing that I have read about is the new parkade at the Hospital under construction, which I am assuming is in preparation for future hospital tower (not even sure if funding is at the table yet??). Would love to hear if anyone else knows of other projects.

New shopping center at the intersection of Foothills and Nechako. Apartments will be apart of the project as well as future expansion of homes

Yes, I like it also.

These are some of the newer apartments that have recently been completed near 15th and Foothills.

Unlike other parts of BC, there isn't a tonne happening in PG these days...
Probably the most exciting project under construction is this:

Also, this project was cancelled and the land sits cleared but vacant.
