Latest I can find on KPF’s site (October 2023) is that the tower has topped out and the retail base is open for business.

I read an article years ago that said the CCP issued guidance for construction companies to stop building crazy designed towers. This after the Beijing pants tower got built.

It's interesting to hear your perspective on the design evolution. While the current design may still hint at a hand-like shape, the abstract approach seems to have refined the concept into a more subtle and versatile form.
