I wonder if ICON would consider some ground floor commercial in this development? Maybe in the final building.

I doubt it. I imagine this development will be purely residential.

Yeah it's 100% residential. But I was just thinking of the explosion of apartment buildings and hence people in this neighbourhood. And by the time the third building in this project is completed, there'll be even more.

Then again there's so much vacant land in Findlay Park, maybe ICON will do another project later on that will include commercial space.

As the rise in population continues to drive housing construction in Moncton, Riverview and Dieppe, the Town of Riverview is asking residents to provide input on the future municipal plan and zoning bylaws through an online survey.

Public meetings to discuss the plan will be held at Riverview Town Hall on June 12 and June 13, from 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. each day.
The survey can be found at

Great gesture of Icon Developments to donate their time to fix up the baseball fields in Riverview. That is one great way to introduce yourself to the community!

Icon would like to thank the Riverview Minor Baseball Association and the Town of Riverview for allowing us to help out by providing a new batting cage, clubhouse, and canteen at the Whitepine field. Also, a special thanks to Downey Home Hardware Building Centre for their generous donation.

We hope the new setup adds to the kids summer fun. hashtag#riverview hashtag#riverviewminorbaseball hashtag#icondevmoncton hashtag#community

Good for ICON. This proves they will be good corporates citizens.

We are lucky in Moncton to have at least three first rate major developers - Lafford, ICON and Ashford.

If only Ashford would hurry up and give us an inkling of what they want to do with Downing Street.

When Thrive Properties were in their prime, I remember wondering if they'd ever advance to doing taller buildings. Unfortunately they seem to have gone in the opposite direction. Who knows why, but it would be quite the story if they'd bounce back and join the major developers with bigger projects. I won't hold my breath though.

Our friends at Infinity Aerials took this photo of the worksite where ICON is constructing the new three building apartment complex at the corner of Pine Glen and White Pine in Riverview:

You can see where the base of the tower crane has been installed.

I presume the town will upgrade that section of White Pine before this project is completed.

I am shocked they haven’t update that yet. That has been gravel sides and ditches since I was a kid. They have upgraded all around it.. but just not it.

That stretch of Whitepine Rd has been a patchwork for years -it's almost comical how rough it is. I am hoping/guessing that they will finally upgrade it with new piping and sidewalks once the new development gets hooked up. I travel this stretch every day and it's dangerous for high school kids to walk it with no sidewalks in sight.

They were waiting to upgrade it. Would've hated to have nice new pave dug up to add service to the new development.

Though saying that they'll probably rip up Pine Glen and go that route

I drove by the ICON site at about 7:00 tonight. There was major excavation work going on, I noticed a large deep hole already. If this is any indication, these buildings should proceed in a timely manner.
