Porter
MCO: 7152/7192 = 99.4%
FLL: 7102/7564 = 93.9% -- Breakdown is 3923/3968 on YOW-FLL and 3179/3596 on FLL-YOW which makes me wonder if there's some data issues

Rouge
TPA: 1295/1360 = 95.2%
MCO: 2018/2176 = 92.7%
FLL: 4108/4352 = 94.4%

WestJet
RSW: 2709/2796 = 96.9%
MCO: 2493/2796 = 89.2%

Flair
LAS: 2572/3024 = 85.0%
FLL: 5676/6804 = 83.4%
SFB: 2892/3402 = 85.0%

Jazz
DCA: 1898/2956 = 64.2%
EWR: 1341/2858 = 46.9%

United
ORD: 7818/8636 = 90.5%
EWR: 10966/12508 = 87.7%
IAD: 5750/5167 = 89.9%
AC to EWR aside, those are some phenomenal transborder numbers. DCA has traditionally always been lower loads but the trade off is typically high yields with government traffic.

The PD MCO number is crazy. Only 40 empty seats the entire month. If WS and F8 are off YOW-Orlando next winter, PD would be crazy to not add a second daily as of next December until April. It’s also crazy to think nearly 90% isn’t good enough for WS for them to remain on the route. Their RSW number shows demand exceeds supply. Ditto AC’s mere 1x weekly to TPA.

As for FLL northbound, it may have something to do with either some pax taking AC or F8 northbound or some folks taking PD but connecting at YYZ northbound.

I think it's operated by Omni Air, so likely a charter for someone else.

No idea... you'd think they would just add the second daily at 06:00 instead of messing with reservations already made. My guess is it's fleet utilization instead (the beginning of YYT from YOW). Oh well.

Huh... funny I was on one of those flights in February and it was no more than 70%.
That would mean that all other other flights in February were 100%... or there's an issue with this data

I will certainly be keeping an eye out for any revisions when they release the March data in early June. Unless there were cancelled MCO flights, the denominator being higher for FLL raises eyebrows too.

Thanks for raising suspicions. I think it should be 7,656 total seats on YOW-MCO if there was a 100% completion factor in February.

7,192 seats only equates to exactly 124 seats available/flight instead of 132.

So using 7,656 the LF for February would be a much more reasonable, yet still very impressive 93.4%. That would also still make for a couple of flights in the low 70s or high 60s during the month seem reasonable.

Some Ottawa spotters group on Facebook that pops up in my suggestions said it was a military charter. Not sure whose military lol. Also, unless things have changed, some documentary I saw on the 2 Patriots aircraft said they are operated by Eastern Airlines (although they are in fact owned by the Patriots)

All 3 are AC to YYZ. 2 of the 3 have replacements - one Jazz and a Rouge

Saw this on the Canadian Airport Thread. I figure if they do this, it's to cover routes currently scheduled they need the lift for. But wouldn't it be something after all this time if AC888/889 were revived on a 763.

A pipe dream I’m afraid given AC’s current trajectory.

On a separate note, grab your pics of WS tail #s 810 & 812 who will soon be losing their Disney liveries.

Yeah, AC certainly seems focused on the hub model. Looking at this weeks schedule, I count 2 non-stops daily from YUL to LHR, and 4 non-stops from YYZ to LHR except on Thursdays when they have 3.

The Pats had a falling out with Eastern and they're now operated by Omni.

TS' winter 2024-25 schedule came out today. They're going to be offering 10x weekly YOW departures. I checked and it's a carbon copy of this past winter.

I'll have to dig into this, but I believe this winter flights to CUN and PUJ would often go YOW-[sun]-YHM/YXU-[sun]-YOW. I don't see YHM listed and YXU only 1x weekly on each of PUJ and CUN, so hopefully this means that the flight timings from YOW will be improved. Often the northbounds on days with that type of routing arrived into YOW around 3-4am.

Quickly looking in Jan 2025, it is very variable.
From CUN...
Tuesday | arrive 04:15
Thursday | arrive 16:05
Saturday | arrive 02:25

Also flights are indicated as being flown by the A320

Indeed looks like a 320 based here this winter. I didn't even know TS flew A320s, but according to their website 180 seats vs 198 on the 321. There is the odd 321 where the plane flies [sun]-YOW-[sun]. The Saturday CUN flight and Sunday PUJ flights are timed that way since the frame does CUN/PUJ-YXU-CUN/PUJ in the middle of the day. Here's the schedule:

PUJ

YOW 1750-2320 PUJ day 3 321
YOW 1715-2245 PUJ day 5 320
YOW 0600-1130 PUJ day 7 320

PUJ 2355-0330+1 YOW days 57 320
PUJ 1240-1620 YOW day 3 321

CUN

YOW 0600-1050 CUN days 146 320

CUN 0010-0415 YOW day 2 320
CUN 1200-1605 YOW day 4 320
CUN 2220-0225+1 YOW day 6 320

CCC - effective Dec 19

YOW 1735-2130 CCC day 4 320
CCC 2040-0225+1 YOW day 4 320

POP
YOW 0600-1120 POP day 2 320
POP 1230-1550 YOW day 2 320 - eff 05NOV23 until 10DEC23
POP 2350-0310+1 YOW day 2 320 - eff 17DEC23

SNU - effective Dec 20

YOW 0600-1015 SNU day 5 320
SNU 1130-1520 YOW day 5 320

VRA - effective Dec 21

YOW 1640-2050 VRA day 6 321
VRA 1130-1510 YOW day 6 321

Curious to see what PD does this winter for Caribbean destinations. CUN and PUJ seem most likely - maybe they operate them on days TS isn't?

Thanks for the full breakdown for TS as I was only comparing flight frequencies. So with over half the flights on 320s, that’s a modest capacity decrease.

Today’s departure count: 72

Today’s cancellation count (so far): 1
