That only happened to me once. Only about four cars at the intersection though. I got out and shooed them away.

All this talk about birds must have attracted the blue jay to my deck this morning. Been a while since I've seen them come up this close. Usually they're in the tree. I used to feed them peanuts for a few weeks several years ago and they'd basically be waiting for me at 7:30 in the morning.

And at 8am a neighbour sent us a video of a coyote in the creek at the end of the street. Was sent on whatsapp so really reduced quality. Can barely make it out on this screen cap I took, which is basically the size of a thumbnail lol.

7C and partly cloudy in Moncton at 11 AM, only going up to 12C this afternoon (normal 14-15C).

This has, on the whole, been a cool spring after a warm winter. I think things are a little delayed in terms of sprouting and leafing out.

I've never seen a Canada Goose here, so I was wondering if it was a mistake. There's very little information online specific to this province, but there do seem to be enough different sources to say they do exist here, but we have no year-round population, and no urbanized population. Ours are still fully wild and live in barrens, bogs, moorlands, etc.

So the app was probably accurate, but the bird would've had to be just flying over and not stopping in town.
They are Native to NL, but they're not urbanized in the same way they are elsewhere.

Funny enough, there's a post on the NL subreddit today about a Canada Goose living behind someone's house for the past week.

Canadian Geese straight up boss people around in Vancouver. I've seen them in pairs approach people who are sitting down, loudly honking at them. On numerous occasions, the people get up and leave immediately.

These birds have people shook.

Have a goose couple on my office. The male occasionally stands at the front door. But he seems to used t people now. If you talk to him he lets you into the building.

So if anyone has clear skies this weekend watch for the Aurora, There was a massive solar flair yesterday and its hitting about mid day today through the weekend. I'm already showing a Kp of 4 and it is supposed to go up to 8.5 by Saturday night. With a Kp of 8 here you should see the aurora as far south as Georgia.

^ Yum!

Our days have been better than the forecast lately. Today was supposed to be mostly cloudy but it's been mostly sunny.

I know I say this every year... but I just can't help but feel it every time.

Newfoundland is so depressing from March to June. I don't think I could handle it.

I do want to visit and explore there one day, but definitely not in the spring!

17C and mainly sunny. It is another chillier day than normal.

Low of 7C this morning.

The warmspot was Lytton, BC at 33.9C. Obviously the warmest temperature this year.

The warmest low were Howe Sound - Pam Rocks and Malahat, BC at 14.0C
