Yes this one appears to be topped out now, pretty sure they're working on the rooftop pool/ lounge elements now
Got these from News 4s Youtube on their most recent flyover vid:

Perhaps change the title from '423 South Alamo' to 'Kimpton Hotel' where it's now listed on their website.

^^ Thanks for the photos. Not astounding, but OK. Looks like it would fit in on 410 between North Star Mall and the airport.

To me it's definition of, "That'll do, pig".

It's times like this I wish there were "like" and other reaction buttons on this forum.

While the hotel itself is not very imaginative in design, to me the more exciting part of this development is the rehab and repurpose of the adjacent 19th-century German School into a bar/restaurant.

Agreed. It's a super significant building that has just kind of languished as a underutilized meeting space.

Looks alright from above. It neither draws attention nor hides itself. The most okayest hotel under construction currently.

Nothing crazy but I kind of like it, I'm all for adding more glass and less beige downtown.

As usual though, wish it was cut in half and 20 floors. Idk why there's so many "great walls" here.

That's a good photo of the tilework of the Nix Building.

This is gonna be a slick looking building. The black tone is pretty striking.
