Lake Erie is still sucking up quite a bit of heat, so not bad at all here today. Low of 19.6 this morning and a high of 31. It rained a bit this morning before clearing up

Weekend weather up north was sunny, but not hot like it is now. Super clear. Could see the runs at Blue Mountain across Nottawasaga Bay, about 40-50 clicks away.

Also, removed our biggest tree stump yet. Took an hour of digging and sawing. Always feels like a very manly accomplishment when you're done.

And flies started up again. Put out the new fly trap I saw others use. Within 45 minutes it was starting to fill up.

Like a quiet and cool summer day. Calm and dry with mostly light overcast skies.

Monday's high at Vancouver Harbour was 17 C, the low was 12 C.

Mix of sun and cloud and 21 at 10:30am. Skies will clear this afternoon, highs near 23.

Heat starts really building in for tomorrow, with highs between 25-30 for Wednesday and Thursday.

Just posting this here from this morning on the Okanagan Connector (one of the mountain passes from Kelowna to Vancouver).

Yesterday was stormy with a high of 18c and a few thunder showers, gradually increasing to a high of 30c by the weekend. Finally!

Yesterday wasn’t too bad - high of 30 with a humidex of 38. Was quite windy at times which tempered the heat.

Today will be worse. We had a pretty violent thunderstorm this morning. It’s now already 25 with a humidex of 34 (85% rel humidity). EC has us reaching 32. I would expect a humidex reading above 40 today.

We hit our low of 21.8 at 8 am when the storm rolled through.

It will finally warm up a bit here this weekend to around 26 for Sat./Sun. An earlier forecast showed those warmer temps sticking around into next week but the latest update has us back down below 20 for the early part of the week and just getting over 20 for the latter part. sigh....

It snowed until 4am here in Canmore with some light accumulations in Town. The mountains are clouded/fogged in, but you can see glimpses of very significant snow at elevation.

Lots of rain and inconsistent coolish weather here in Winnipeg too.

No smoke, but we are choking on mosquitoes this year!

I make it a point to be an asshole whenever this heat happens and send my brother in MB pictures of the temperature on my car thingy.

Damn my dash is dirty.

But, hell.. Like Proof Sheet.. give me 23 degrees and easy humidity. This wad of air summoned by Nicko through demonic means is not for me.
