Gardere Wynne Sewell lands at Crescent's newly-designed Uptown tower
Dallas law firm Gardere Wynne Sewell has signed a large office lease at Crescent's $225 million, newly designed Uptown tower, kicking off the tenant signings for the highly-anticipated development at McKinney and Olive streets.
The law firm has signed a lease for 109,000 square feet and will occupy four floors at the 20-story, 530,000-square-foot developed office tower, which is designed by famed architect, Cesar Pelli of Pelli Clarke Pelli.
Crescent Real Estate Holdings LLC expects to break ground on the 3.1-acre, city-block site this summer.

The Southlake-based company plans to relocate its Spring Valley Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steak House to Crescent Real Estate Holdings' newest development in Dallas Uptown, McKinney & Olive. The restaurant will serve as the flagship of the development and is slated to open in 2016, along with the 20-story tower that is located on a 3.1-acre site.
The 13,000-square-foot restaurant will occupy two floors and overlook the tower's one-acre park. The Spring Valley location will remain open until the relocation is complete. It has operated the North Dallas location for 20 years.
