I have been in Cairo for the past three months, I will have a photo set forthcoming. It depends on what you would consider a skyscraper, if it is a habitable building over 12 stories, then Cairo has hundreds of them. They have only a few "skyscrapers" that stand 40 or more stories. But the city is absolutely gigantic and denser than any area in the United States, except perhaps Manhattan. One of the things I am impressed with everyday is their elevated highway system, which whisks you through the city at heights greater than five stories. For most of the drive, you are able to look out over the sea of skyscrapers, it makes for an interesting morning commute.
If you guys want, I can make a trek out to Cairo Expo City and take some photographs.
