So we're now or soon to be at 16 200m+ buildings (including those under construction), and I could see as many as 5 more beginning construction within year. Not too shab.

L Tower is the only one that will be finished soon. One Bloor will likely take another 2-3 years. Toronto could easily be up to 32 within the next 7-8 years, but lots depends on demand remaining firm.

I actually like this new design. It's classy, but not a box. Perfect for it's location. Is anyone else confused by this render, though? Doesn't it look like they've removed several towers around it? Yet L Tower is still under construction in the background? I'm I the only one taking crazy pills, here?

All the buildings seem to be there. Which ones don't you see? On another note, the skyline looks uncharacteristically well balanced in that illustration.

Nice. It looks higher than 735 in comparison to the CBD, but that's just the perspective playing tricks.

The MLS duo has been eclipsed by the Ten York render in that angle, and only parts of Canada Trust and its partner are visible.

Maybe that's what's confusing him. MLS is no loss. The towers are very forgettable and just add to the sea of green glass that's inundated the area.

^And also, we shouldn't forget the Pinnacle twins, likewise hidden from that perspective, though one is just poking out on the right. So basically, 4 towers 500-600 ft in height are hidden behind Ten York in that pic.
