This flag (or something similar) would be better for San Antonio:
Personally, I’d place seven five-pointed white stars vertically on the hoist in blue (with the center star larger than the three above and three below it), with vertical stripes of white then red along the fly with the boundaries of the stripes the outline of the Alamo. Basically, the above but rotated and with seven stars instead of one.
The seven stars represent the six sovereign flags that have flown over Texas (France, Spain, Mexico, Texas, United States, and the Confederacy - or alternatively if you’d like, as I prefer to, the indigenous groups that inhabited Texas prior) plus the larger star representing the city.
San Antonio was the most prominent city in the region comprising Texas in every single one of these entities. It was not until the post-civil war era that any city has eclipsed San Antonio. I suppose that comment might be more suited to the current Power Shift: Cities thread...
