It seems from the designs they are going after a less expensive market than the Court of Two Pavilions which is probably a great thing. Also, I saw City Parks new disc golf course opened to the public. The Park is definitely another example of an asset the city has that is becoming much better post Katrina than it ever was prior to the storm.

It can't be Tulane.... there's no room for a parking lot.

Ok so clearly its Pan American Stadium, they must be upgrading the facility further because its stats match the description!

"Pan American Stadium - a 5,000 seat stadium, host to many high school football games as well as numerous soccer matches"

I bet it's the new Jesuit High School stadium and sports practice field:

It's probably not the Jesuit field as that's more of a baseball field. It's probably Behrman Stadium in Algiers. It's listed on Landrieu's 100 recovery projects and I know they plan on building a pretty nice soccer stadium there.

This is great! Proposal is much better. Kudos to the Mayor for seeing this through. The facility will be much better integrated into the urban fabric now.

Glad to the vast expanse of parking lots planned for the hospital gone.

Concerning the retail development posted earlier...wonder if that is the Gentilly Woods mall. I know NORA owns it, and supposedly had a TJX brand store in mind for it. Maybe the agency is finally going to move forward with the redevelopment.

BTW if you go to the website for the Rouses I linked you can find all the architectual drawings for what the place is going to look like. Will be a very fine store and will make for an excellent flagship for Rouses.
