The sales reports by most promoters are exaggerated, for sure. As KP says, Sir Paul was reported up at the high end of 36K and the actual sales were 10K less.
BEP was reported 21-22K and the sales report was 9K. This was in part because PPE gave away 11K complimentary tickets to make it look full.
I don't think the exaggeration is as bad for the Moncton shows. Different companies, more professional, international companies. But it would still be there a bit.
