I saw these lights changing colour the other night while driving past - in my opinion, the changing colours were a little too disco and started approaching Vuze-level tackiness. Personal taste only - I suppose some find flashing colours on buildings exciting.
I don't mind a themed colour (St. Patrick's Day green, for example), it's the rapid colour changes that seem a bit off to me. And seems out of step for a building by a "serious" architect like MacKay Lyons Sweetapple. I guess once they spec colour-changing lights, there's no guarantee the developer won't try to do something "fun" with them...
