Weren't the two complexes on 11th and 12th Lafferty projects? Did he develop and entitle them and sell them to an actual builder?

Edison has pushed their Grand Opening to October 4th. Looks like they are still finishing up the road repaving and a few other things.

Yep, we've been watching that site from our office for a while now. The parking garage is all finished as well. Does anyone have a rendering of what the final property will look like?

Hi, I've heard that a developer has already been selected to redevelop the Sydney P. Osborn housing projects near Edison Park. Does anyone know if that's true, and if so, who the developer is? Thanks!

Construction at Columbus and Central Ave is in full swing. View from the Financial Center.

It's a new APS substation.

So, I noticed this morning that the construction fence has been enlarged and now covers the area in the red I outlined in the pic below. The expanded area appears to be getting dirt graded, so I don't think it's for staging. This is considerably larger (nearly double) than the original article of this development indicated back in April.

Has anyone seen a rendering of this project? I know that it's proposed at 6 levels (4 residential over 2 parking). Due to the time from announcement to construction start, I find it curious no more information has been posted and I can't find the project on Fore's website. I'm wondering if that adjacent lot that was fenced off could have been added to the development?

I'm on mobile but someone on a computer could just look at the assessor map to see if they own the entire area and if there are permits issued.

I've never thought to look at the assessor map before. Thanks for the tip. I'll see what I can dig up unless someone else can beat me to it.

Edit:
So, if I am at the right place, this is what I've found. There's not much to go on. The parcels now fence wrapped show owned by the City of Phoenix. The main parcel doesn't show any owner information except pending. Am I in the right place, Biggus?

looks like some changes are being made to the parcel either address, lot boundaries, or splitting.

The area in the red box is owned by the City. Nothing is happening there for now.

Oh, that's disappointing, speaking about the APS sub station as opposed to town homes.

If you look in that picture there is also construction going on behind it on the block that is east of Alta Midtown. Anyone know what that is?

There are two separate questions being asked here:

1. Why is the red box being graded?
2. What's behind Alta?

Hope that helps everyone.
