This is a picture I took a couple years ago, from Dartmouth Cove, of my favourite Halifax skyline angle. It took it before the possibility of this shot becoming partially blocked from the King's Wharf development (several towers), which (now) extends out into the water via newly deposited land infill.
This shot could still be unblocked; I haven't gone back to check recently. Regardless, I lucked out to have decent lighting due to the clear weather, along with somewhat complimentary clouds -- and even a seagull beginning to fly-by.
All that's missing is a stereotypical Scotian sailboat...
