It's all a matter of taste, of course. Nevertheless, Tour de la Bourse is still considered one of the most elegant examples of the International Style.
Regarding the Château Champlain (and this is my opinion only) it still has the same ultra-classy elegance now that it had when finished in 1966. It
isn't particularly tall - less than 40 stories - but makes an architectural statement that is both bold, daring, yet dignified and classical, all at once.
One major building in Montreal that I DON'T care for (and I'd like to hear your opinion) is the the one on de la Gauchetière Street. I forget the address.
It's that peaked roof that puts me off. And it's currently the tallest in the city, too.
