Place Telus (originally called the CIL Building), designed by Skidmore Owings & Merrill and build between 1959/1962 is (with the CIBC building and PVM) the other international-style building that stand out in that period in Montreal.

In that picture from 1963, it's the black building to the right of PVM.

An interesting skyline including forecast projects that never happened from back in 2016:

These were supposed to be Calgary in 2024.

This is my favourite International-style Montreal skyscraper.

Completed in 1962, a few months before Place Ville-Marie, the CIBC Tower was the tallest building in Canada and the entire Commonwealth of Nations when it was first built, until being surpassed later that year by Place Ville-Marie where a penthouse was added by the competing Royal Bank for that express purpose.

the variety, in terms of height makes Gatineau's skyline silhouette, dare I say it, somewhat more appealing than Ottawa's strickly in the literal sense of the word "skyline". ...at least in that pano shot. Ottawa's saving grace are the parliament buildings.

CIBC is still my favourite Montreal tower.

The CIBC tower is the equivalent of someone who is really good looking in person but somehow never looks quite as good in photos.

^Good ol' Montreal. Great angles, only marred by that wretched Rogers building.

Eau Claire mall is only being demolished in the next month or two so that entire complex of wedge shaped buildings hasn’t happened. The Greenline is advancing faster than the developer (which says something since it’s taking 20 years). The other weird conjoined twin to the right of that also never happened, though they apparently had Shaw interested as a tenant for the podium with condos on the top. Finally the tallest 3 tier tower also never got built (centre right), which is a bit of a relief since that site is one of few that would allow for a supertall and that proposal was similar in height to Brookfield Place.
