It is so strange that they are not using cranes.

Making progress with building the 4th floor concrete block walls and the steel wall panels. Should be landing 5th floor concrete floor slabs in a couple of weeks.

Has construction halted? Not much activity as of late.

They have installed the 5th floor concrete slabs now and are starting on the 5th floor concrete block walls. No signs of structural steel for the 5th and 6th floors as of yet assuming they plan to continue using structural steel for the remaining floors.

They have made good progress on building the 5th floor concrete block walls but still no signs of new structural steel for the next floors. They have installed some windows now on the ground floor level along Hyde Park Rd.

things have really slowed down on this site. Plus there is no evidence of excavation/construction on the northern half of this project.

I can't help but think if they had used a tower crane from the start that this 8s building would have already been topped out by now. Using form and pour method or even if they had done a poured lower level and gone with precast concrete they could have topped out this building by now. Still have 3 more floors plus a penthouse to build which at their pace will take them well into the Fall. To contrast this build with Tricar's 10s Northlink tower 2 building they built 2 levels of underground parking and 10 floors plus penthouse in less time then this building has done 1 level of underground and 5 floors. I wonder when they will demolition the plaza to the north and start phase 2. Hopefully they invest in using a tower crane for that phase.

No mobile crane on site today. In fact no work appears to be happening today. They have installed some new structural steel for the 6th and 7th floors now.

Have started installing the steel wall unit panels for the 6th floor. Should see the 7th floor concrete slabs being installed via mobile crane in a couple of weeks.

Mobile crane back on site installing the 7th floor concrete slabs on the west wing. Will likely continue next week with the Hyde Park Rd side followed by installing the structural steel for the 7th and 8th floor posts.

The 7th floor slab is now installed and they have started on some of the 7th floor concrete block walls. No signs yet of structural steel for 7th and 8th floor posts.
