further $129 million was set aside for smart meter deployment and work on large projects including SaskPower’s Logistics Warehouse Complex in Regina.

Other planned capital projects for the upcoming fiscal year include the ongoing refurbishment of the E.B. Campbell and Coteau Creek hydroelectric power stations and the expansions of the Ermine and Yellowhead Stations.

Regina trucking company buys land at Global Transportation Hub

Another parcel of land at the Global Transportation Hub outside of Regina has been sold.

According to the provincial government, trucking company 4Tracks Ltd. has bought 15 acres of land at the GTH, where it will build a 16,740-square-foot office, a warehouse and a wash bay facility this summer. The company is expected to invest more than $8 million into the project.

It looks like lots of activity on the Cargill crush plant. I could see at least 3 massive cranes from the bypass. In the aerials below you can see the loop track forming up.

The global transportation hub in Regina is the most active construction site in Saskatchewan with more to come it’s about bloody time

Cargill construction site is pouring slip form concrete for the elevator 24 hours a day for the next 7 days.

Five more acres of land sold at GTH, says government
"In total, 1010.2 acres have been sold by the GTH since its inception while 497 acres remain for sale, with the remainder of the land dedicated to infrastructure

A Saskatchewan trucking company has purchased five acres of land at the Global Transportation Hub (GTH).

Guldeep Romana, owner of Cam Transport, said the purchase was made as his company looks to expand.

“The ease of access to the bypass to serve our many customers from around the city made our location decision an easy one,” said Romana in a government press release.

After all the controversy around the tub, there are only 497 acres of land left to develop , one major a new company could fill up the whole transportation. Hub question is can more land be added.
