Nah, late november is still a decent guess for if they keep a tight timetable. They'd have to do over 3 floors a week somehow to end in october.

Being that there is a blowthrough floor my guess is that will slow things down somewhat and itll be mid december when it tops off.

According to Redfin, there's 14 condos of over $7.5M each at Vista that have signed contracts to buy. Of those, 3 are ones that are over $10M each and another 3 are between $9.5M and $10M.

...out of curiosity, assuming that the building tops out before the glass starts........how many weeks will it take to clad the entire building?

I looked a bit back some days ago and they had this discussion earlier. I believe most agreed that even with multiple teams putting glass up at once on an aggressive schedule it could take several months, and that's best case scenario.

The time lapse, from across the river, of a completed, 1,200’ structure, would Be AWESOME!

We must get Ox Blue to relocate their cam. Or even dedicated forumer to take a shot from the same spot every other day or so.

I'll be able to do Wolf Point South/East for us at least. What is Ox Blue?

I have a pretty good feeling there will be a timelapse of this released once it's done. Same with OBP and NEMA. There are Earthcam's on all. Not sure what happened to Vista's (must've gone private like OBP and NEMA). Or they ditched Earthcam for Vista because I thought I saw somewhere that Multivista has a webcam on Vista (maybe both)...

What a beast of a building. Does anyone know the approximate square footage of Vista? I know it's thin, but it has to be well over a million, right?

Wanda is a big building. I wouldn't call it thin. It'll be just over 1.4 million square feet.

.

That seems pretty legit , I don’t think no one knew they be done this early but then again I think everyone would have guess there wouldn’t be no problem getting glass .

OxBlue is the number one name in construction webcams.

But I misspoke; it appears Vista has a deal with Earthcam. This vantage would be perfect for a glass timelapse, but sadly it hasn't been updated since March 15.

Yea I’ve been on there many times and they haven’t updated it . The camera view has been stuck on February .

I shall refrain from any "wacker" drive comments . Anyone hear anything new on the glass issue?

^I just did today. Apparently late last week they passed at 29 of 30 locations on the new system. That qualifies as passing the test, from what I’m told.

Was also told that most of the trades are submitting change orders for added work of having to come back once the curtain wall is in. The GC is backcharging the glass contractor for this. In short, it’s a disaster for them.
