I thought I saw them posted somewhere, I will look.

I can't see that you're missing any heights for any of the Domain buildings above 150 feet, but there was an article in April that talked about two more office buildings being planned near the Domain Tower. These would be "sequels" to the Domain Tower.

I would expect these to be at least close to 150 feet tall.

The plans are still in the early phase, but the new buildings will likely be between eight to 10 stories high and about 300,000 square feet each, according to Stonelake and HPI.

The new towers are tentatively being called Domain Tower 2 and Domain Tower 3.

66-story tower, tallest in Austin, could break ground soon

Downtown skyscraper boasts an acre of parks in the sky, beaucoup parking and region's highest pool

By Marissa Luck – Staff Writer, Austin Business Journal
May 31, 2018, 7:56am CDT Updated 9 hours ago

The developers behind what would be the tallest tower in Austin said they could break ground on their 66-story skyscraper as early as this fall.

Right now, it's dubbed 6th + Guadalupe. The site could house hundreds of new residents and office workers with an estimated 575,000 square feet of offices underneath 349 residential units.

“It will be like no other building in downtown in terms outdoor amenity space … (one acre of outdoor access) for downtown Austin is crazy,” he added.

Above the outdoor terraces will be office space on floors 14 through 32, then apartments on floors 34 through 66. There will also be three levels of underground parking designated for residents.

I really like it.

The skyline is so tall now that I get good views of it near Anderson Ln. There's no telling what the view would be from my rooftop, although there might be too many trees to see the skyline.

Man, I remember the first time I went through Austin on my way to South Padre in the summer of 89, and how boring of a skyline it had. Very little changed when I visited a friend who relocated there on 3 different occasions back in the late 90s. Now, if I were to visit there, I would think I'm in a different city. It might as well be, since the population was a little over 500,000 back then. It's likely to double from that number in a few years.

It's close to 1 million today... give it 12 years and it will likely double.

.....and the latest 2017 metro population estimates recently released is above 2.1 million. At the current rate of growth, the 2018 estimates should be close to 2.2 million.....crazy whats happening here.

Seems like I saw an estimate recently that the city itself is already at about 1 million. Don't remember where I saw that. Kevin would probably have a source.

I know what you mean, Syndic, in that it does feel underwhelming when one considers what could have been built, but I actually also like it and think its simplicity could give it some added timelessness.

City Council approved the rezoning of the Broadmoor parcel late last night. This clears the way for buildings up to 360 feet tall.

Broadmoor rezoning clears way for new mega-development next to Domain; Site pitched to Amazon for HQ2

By Will Anderson – Digital Editor, Austin Business Journal

The fate of Broadmoor is a little clearer now. But only a little.

Owner Brandywine Realty Trust now has a green light from Austin to proceed with its plan to massively redevelop the 66-acre parcel just east of The Domain, which is home to a major IBM Corp. campus and has been floated as a potential HQ2 site for Amazon.

Austin City Council on Thursday night gave final approval to rezone the area for higher-density construction. Brandywine, which brought the Broadmoor tract from IBM in 2015, said Thursday it intends to push ahead with its plans for a "mixed-use, transit-oriented and highly-amenitized urban environment."

The site is across the street from The Domain — known as Austin's second downtown — and is down the street from land that may host a Major League Soccer stadium.

demolition permit hearing for properties at 5th and Lavaca (301 W 5th along with 303, and 305) scheduled for Monday, 23 July 2018. they are drilling down inside for samples. am surprised this didn't include the space at 307 W 5th so all the properties up to the Plaza Lofts would be developed together
