Here's my theory - It's gotta be a lot or lots that only have Lincoln frontage, otherwise, they would probably pick a Broadway moniker. If that assumption is correct, there is only one block that has no Broadway frontage, which is 002-B, and personally, I don't think thats the best fit for a 30-story job. Therefore, I am thinking its on the east side of Lincoln. Looking at those, the one block that stands out from the whole, "significant-addition-to-the-skyline" perspective, is 032-b. Thats my crackpot theory at least.

... except the only parcel facing Lincoln that also has Broadway frontage is the one on Block 003-B.

Anyway, I do remember hearing that when the GSA was shopping around for sites for the new EPA HQ, one of the sites near the top of their list... and had a willing seller... was the vacant parcels owned by Trinity (the church on 18th).

Dikeou, on the other hand, is notorious for letting his land sit.

Random thought.....

Could they be fixing up the old building on the SE corner of 20th and Lincoln for a sales office?

I thought that was being reconditioned for new retail?

Dammit, it's going on 16th and Lincoln!

ooooh, could be! Junkie and I were around there the other day, and they were definitely remodeling the building, despite the fact that it's a tiny one-story building that deserves to be scraped! But it would make a good sales office.

the black building...

First of all,

HOLY CRAP! Another highrise being announced (or at least planned) for downtown! This is awesome that it's NOT one of the towers proposed along 14th...

Secondly,

I tend to agree with the majority about Block 29-b. Makes perfect sense, right smack dab in the middle of the downtown stretch of Lincoln. However, I do see rds's point that the ad is touting this building as a major new skyline enhancement, which would tend to lean towards an 18th-20th St./Ave. area location, near 1999 Broadway...

Regardless, this will be freaking awesome! ANY of those lots will make nice candidates to disappear!

I guess I would rather see something closer to the 20th & Broadway area. This could really be the catalyst for redevelopment over there. We can reserve 16th and Lincoln for future office space.

Plus 1999 Broadway would lose a small part of its sea of surface parking surrounding it!

What?! I go away for a couple of hours and I come back to find that there's not a single new post with information about our new 30 story highrise announced for Denver today??

You people really let me down!

There are 2 or 3 25-35 story residential towers planned on 14th, plus the 50 story Fourseason's and residence on 14th, and there are the glass house which is going to be a tall residential, and now we have another 30 story residential. Plus we have the 48 story El Jebel residential looking for a bank to finance it.

Warren, we already know that information. D4D was being SARCASTIC, do you know what that means?

You boys are sharp! Great find and good job on the research. I love how you already found the website, and have proven that it belongs to this development. Another potential great addition to the city and skyline

My two cents - I hope it is closer to 20th street and the LRT. That intersection is almost completely surrounded by no man's land parking lots and creates a barrier with the neighborhood to the east. Plus there is very little residential in that area of DT.
