Moment Factory's 'Elixer' that ran for a couple of months in fall, 2010.

My not-so-slick video of the last half of the show.

Hands down the best timelapse of Toronto I have ever seen!

This might have been here earlier, as it is from back in 2010, but I only came across it this week:

Discovered courtesy of Traynor from Urban Toronto:

Toronto Boom Town

"This short documentary studies the contrast between the sedate Toronto of the turn of the century and the thriving, expanding metropolis of 1951. Aerial views give evidence of the conversion of the old Toronto into the new--the city with towering skyscrapers, teeming traffic arteries, vast industrial developments and far-reaching residential areas housing over a million people."

Saw this comical short film on TV this morning. I think they cut some scenes from this version though!

The Quebec City's tourism office released a short "Merry Christmas" video... Some recycled footage from previous videos but still nice:

Great video of Quebec City! I have yet to visit QC, but I have a rather positive image of the city and especially think it would be one of the few cities east of Rockies that are best visited in winter.

What is, by the way, that suspension bridge seen on the video?

That bridge is suspended above the Montmorency waterfalls:

It looks like that in the winter though:

Filmed this today. Basically it's the drive from my BF's old apartment to our new rental house. MY STREET! My home sweet home.

Our actual house is one of the ones in the thumbnail, which is few seconds in, once we go over the hill and down into old St. John's. ;-)

Here's some up, close and personal footage I got from last week's INSANE five-alarm fire in Montreal's east end.

This video "gets" Toronto. Regardless of whether you find Bourdain annoying or not, it really captures the unique ambience of the city.

LOL! Yeah, he "got" how ugly Toronto is and he "got" the hilarity of Toronto's 'unique' poutine. It left me waiting for a 'unique' smoked meat or bagel segment..
