Anyone want to venture a guess as to why the price of gas is higher in NE Winnipeg than the rest of the city?

It's a strange area of the city. I don't think that explains all of it, but it's a start.

Let's not even get started on the type of people who live there.

Lol you guys are so funny.

Does Domo on Marion count as NE? They had a gas sale last week at something in the 62 cent per litre range.

True enough but wrong answer, while gas was at 69.9 in parts of the city on Tuesday prices in NE Winnipeg just saw 72.3 today. One retailer has a larger presence than the rest of Winnipeg in NE Winnipeg and are now the last to lower prices, any guesses. Hint: son plays in the NHL

There's a northeast part of Winnipeg? You mean that place you get dumped at if you catch the wrong bus at City Hall?

It was the 41. I intended to get the 45.

1ajs asked me, "Why didn't you get off at the bus stop on the bridge?"

Bitch, I'm not from Winnipeg! How would I know you have bus stops in the middle of bridges???? Why is it even there??

Unless the bus driver took pity on you for getting on the wrong bus, the 41 is an express and doesn't stop in the middle of the bridge.

I didn't get off on the middle of the bridge, I got off several blocks away from it on the Henderson Highway. I didn't know there was a stop on the bridge. It must have actually been the 40 I was on, since I got off somewhere around Hespeler and the 41 doesn't stop again until Kimberly. But I am pretty sure I got on the bus because it had an odd number.

It was almost 4 years ago now, the new Disraeli wasn't even built yet.

Stop is there but the 40/41's don't stop there. First scheduled stop for those two express buses outbound to NK is @ Kimberly and Henderson.

Looks like only the 11 stops on the bridge. Maybe I got on the 11 and just mis-remember it as being the 41.

This was a fun chat!

Did the 45 stop there in 2012? I might have been on the 45???

I love how this is now a big, complex discussion of "Which bus did vid accidentally take to Elmwood??"
