^ I actually like the Phase 1 Oxford towers the best of the bunch. Still, an impressive amount of development for Mississauga. Once this is all done, it will be a mid-to-large-size North American city skyline on it's own.

Yes it's rather mind-boggling that a suburb that previously was basically a shopping centre surrounded by thousands of homes sprawling to infinity, will eventually be home to dozens of scrapers unrivalled by most NA cities.

We sometimes forget that the south-eastern edge of the city is on the lake, another area under-going enormous change like this:

As the mid-town Yonge and Eglinton cluster continues to climb, I’m losing track of the huge developments proposed farther east on Eglinton (Crosstown Community and FREED posted earlier). Here’s another:

The mega $3.8 Billion (37 tower) Oxford development is easily the most important Missie development as it tries to bring some of the first "real urbanism" to these burbs, as opposed to all the tower/podiums scattered about (nice curvy ones though).

^^ Most folks like the building’s unique form, but many despise the 2 “mouths” on the east and west elevations.

Apparently this design element was inspired by a “fake news” public figure.
