kinda feels like when you have a neighbourhood of 50s bungalows and someone converts one into a 2 story ultra modern house - it looks cool but it look a bit odd compared to the rest of the neighbourhood.
Maybe the buildings around it will get a facelift like those 2 white and bluish grey apartment buildings have downtown
That brings me to a thought.. I've never heard of apartment buildings ever being torn down..
I also like the part that joins the 2 buildings with the amenity space on top, and probably retail or parking below - good way to camouflage things while also keeping it classy looking - noticing them doing that a lot in the new developments
