Normally, I’d totally expect a snowstorm or two in March, but it seems this ship has already sailed. The grass has been greening up at a steady pace with the rain the last couple of days. This week will be colder across Ontario, but no significant snowfall is expected I believe.

What a spectacular weekend here. Some deck time Sat and Sunday. a long bike ride on dusty dry roads. Almost all of our snow is gone.

Up to 15 today. Then summer is over. 0 to -7 for the high the rest of the week into the weekend. Lows -15. Snow Wed and Sat.

It's been truly miserable here all day, including some heavy snow - but it didn't accumulate and roads, etc. remain bare.

Winter is back just as it ends - currently about 2, cloudy with some flurries.

Night time low of -8 on the first day of Spring. Nothing record breaking, but enough to kill some of the stuff that has bloomed earlier than normal.

Looks like next week will be back to around average, with highs in the 5-9 range.

Spring will be on hold this week, getting quite cold on Thursday and Friday and possibly some snow. It would be nice if it snowed on the front end of the cold spell to insulate the ground a bit.

Today is supposed to be 6 degrees, but right now it's only 1 degree. The low was -1.5

Going into spring with a February forecast. Yesterday reached 10°+ at a few locations in southern Manitoba incl. Morden, 6° at YWG. Looks like that's it for above freezing temps for at least a week, according to the NWS through the rest of the month. If that is correct, March will come in below seasonal. With a few exceptions, springs in the past decade or more have been getting colder here. Fortunately, forecast is for the northern Valley to avoid any snowfall. Snow cover is generally gone in open areas but remains in wooded areas. EC records it at 1 cm for the airport.

Today's high of 0° was recorded early this morning and the temperature will go nowhere but down for the rest of the day. At 11am YWG has some high cloud, northerlies gusting to 60 and -5°C.

actually feels like a fall day here. overcast and 1. snow flurries in the area. Drove 1.5 hrs south of YEG for a meeting. Overcast the whole way. Did see some Ross Geese and one snow goose , which seems very early for them. The feathered vipers are back though.

Overcast and mild all day. Hat and gloves are out away, maybe for good.

Tony's still going strong. Started by a Portuguese stowaway whose descendants number in the many dozens already - many of them very accomplished Irish dancers. The Portuguese white fleet doesn't reside here anymore, but every Catholic church still has one of the statues they gifted in big processions from their ships in the harbour.

Rain and snow in Toronto with no accumulation around High Park.

Meanwhile, on the 401 to KW, once past Guelph Line it was almost a blizzard. Then it turned to rain in KW. But in Mennonite country, like in Hawkesville (originally colonized by African Americans)
