Maybe as it gets going and seeing more instead of just the one sheet, it will look better. Keeping fingers crossed.
Also strange that the glass looks entirely different than the renderings which portrayed a very light colored glass whereas this glass looks black as can be.

It seems like there has been a big design change.

I was down there yesterday and I saw them assembling this crane around 11AM or so. Nice to have these cranes so close to the river, great sight for people coming up 76.

Having worked for Conrail, they are a thing of beauty to me, especially from an economic perspective. It would be nice if the tracks were elsewhere, but they were there long before the folks buying expensive condos.

This is a city, not sure why people have an issue with residential buildings and transportation corridors being so close. Thats what happens in a densely packed city. My parents' rear yard backs up to a regional rail line that feeds Montco. Its part of life in the city.

When they build riverwalk, I was wondering if it is possible to get air rights to portions of this train to create a tunnel. It would be great if there was a design way to build over the train and down to the path...inserting cafes or easier access from retail to river.

Bingo !!! Access to the river. In my utopian Philly, the rail lines along the trail would be hidden via tunnel from South St to the existing entrance before the Art Museum. Thus opening up a couple of miles of new river access and reducing noise pollution and blight. Not to mention the safety element. Of course it would take Warren Buffet to step forward and ten years of construction to complete, but I can dream can"t I ???

Not sure why I'm obsessed with a crane hanging out over the River trail, but I think it's a cool site.

Will really add some cool density to the skyline from the South Street Bridge shot:

More towers where? For this project? No, this is the only one. The site is relatively small, and in no way can fit multiple towers.

He could have meant the CHOP building. Isn't there suppose to be multiple towers in the final phase?
