Great shot! That's a really interesting angle to show the density. Is that taken from the Parkdale area? North or South of the 417?

South of the Queensway, East of Parkdale. I recently got a sub-250g drone and was testing it out above my home. A couple more towers in Little Italy around the mining buildings and that large parking lot would really make that areas skyline interesting.

Nice! You'll be flying through caves, like Harley does, and inside hotel lounges, like Harley claims he doesn't do, in no time!

City staff must've ordered the cladding to be removed after coming to the conclusion that it was too nice and that there was a significant lack of charcoal and beige brick.

Surely they must be swapping out either bad or temporary glass.

This tower looks miniscule compared to the Icon. Shame. Given its prominence on the opposite side of the street from Icon, they should have gone for similar height.

Downtown is good evidence of why having a bunch of buildings at the same height isn't visually-appealing.

I would love to know the actual height of this building, because I don't think it's 96m. That was the height when it was proposed at 31 stories.

Have you considered flying your drone at the base of this tower and using the DJI Pilot app's above sea level (or ground level) reading as the "floor" and then taking off to the top of the tower and seeing the height in the app?

Might be a way to measure it yourself!

granted it is significantly shorter than the icon, but the important thing here is if the finish looks good because there's already a proposed 60 stories building beside it and a lot that has pre-approval for 3 towers with the highest being 55 stories.

If those are built, then this being 30 creates a nice variation of height. I know the Richcraft The Sky project is MIA and most probably dead.. but hopefully they sell off to another developer like Fengate that would be good. Hopefully this one is topped off soon!
