Maybe the pool goes under a walkway, with a glass wall at one end of it. So the waters are "infinite" and you walk the sky above.

The picture they are using in the ads is of the original proposal of 40 and 30 stories. I wonder if they are going back to that design.

It will likely end up looking very similar to the King Charlotte in Toronto.

I've seen all three renders used in advertising. They are definitely not going back to the old design. I think it's just the advertisers not doing due diligence.

I would be thrilled if he actually built it, otherwise just another nice render. Why does it not show up on his web page other than a direct link. He garnered so much media attention and nothing has ever come out of his visits to the Hammer. Call me the skeptic, but do have more faith in those that are actually building their renders.

What else would he do with the land? It's bought and paid for, and the project has already been approved. This one will be happening.

The lift is in the land / rezoning / approved development app. My guess is he will flip it. Why would he not have it on his web site - even when 3rd party reps are flogging units .

The registration site is up, and he does still have a page for it on the development corporation site but if you go around the site and back to the "New Release" page it's not listed. Weird. There's also a different TV City site with details.

Marketing for sales is very clearly underway, the developer re-filed their site plan application following their OLT approval, i'm getting ads all over the place for it directly from Lamb (NOT random realtors pushing units), and sales are apparently launching in a few weeks.

Lamb's planning on building this one.

I can't find the article, but I also remember reading somewhere that Lamb stated directly that he wanted to start demolition of the CHCH studio in early 2022. May have been on the CHCH evening news. So I expect this one to actually get moving very very soon. This one is happening.

I love this development because it pisses all over Durand Nimbys and frankly that's a good thing.

I've seen dozens and dozens of people on Instagram complaining that this development 'doesn't suite the character of the Durand neighbourhood". You have got to be kidding me. Durand is probably the densest neighbourhood in the city, with by far the greatest number of high rise rental buildings. And this somehow doesn't suite the character of the neighbourhood?

Those are closer to Toronto condo sizes, other than the penthouse suites which are insanely massive. Definitely far smaller than the units in recent new builds in Hamilton. 470sf 1-beds are common in Toronto, but most newer Hamilton condos are looking at closer to 600sf for a 1-bed.

Anyone know what Lamb is asking in terms of price per sf? I expect this will be the most expensive building ever sold in Hamilton.

I love this project. Pure class. Finally we'll get something as architecturally appealing as what we see in Toronto. Good job Lamb

If I had Channel 2 I'd cut the cord (you see what I did there?).
It's good that they have a good variety of sizes to choose from.

The TV-themed names for unit numbers are cheesy, but it's a great project.
