It might be close to 70% if you go by floor space or volume. The floors get smaller toward the top. But vertically, yeah, it's maybe getting close to half way.

I counted 18 floors in corvairkeith's photos. According to the elevations, that puts the 18th floor at 227 feet 6 inches, as measured from Cesar Chavez - the lowest point at grade - which is listed as 450 feet. The core rises about another two or three more floors, so it's probably up to 264 to 278 to the core now.

One thing, though, I was looking at the elevations and noticed that the 450 foot grade elevation at the southwest corner isn't quite the lowest grade elevation, and it drops down a bit more than that number. I was looking at one of the older sets of elevations we saw, and it lists that point as 448 feet 7 inches. Measuring from there, you get 595 feet.

Good point there. The tower does slim down quite a bit as it slopes away from the river. This will have 35 floors, so we're about halfway there height-wise.
