There are worse neighbourhoods in Burnaby, and even then there are worse in Vancouver and Surrey. Brentwood is probably one of the safest neighbourhoods in Metro Vancouver.

Gilmore Street in that area is actual a bridge one of the few concrete roads in Burnaby. The hole area was piled pre loaded and a reinforced concrete grade bridge was built so the road would not disapear. OMA and the other towers to the South do not have underground parkades. So I would find it odd that ONNI would be the first in the city to build a 7 story below grade parkade in an area where at grade roads were a major undertaking.

If you don't know what a murder is but you know how to post here. Take the time to google a murder as its interesting reading. And there are many researchers that come to Burnaby to witness and investigate the murder. As it is apparently one of the largest in North America

Not for very long, with the construction of Gilmore Place and Akimbo in the area. It will scare these poor crows away to find a new hangout place elsewhere.

They're attracted to food, litter, garbage etc.
Things that usually come with construction projects and people moving into an area where previously there were none or fewer.

Actually, there was a creek that flowed past Willingdon Heights down to Chub. Whichever idiots found nature's preexisting flood control devices and decided to pave over them should be resurrected and hit repeatedly with the stupid stick.

I agree look 2 blocks to the south on Still Creek. I take my hat off to the maintenance crews that service that business park. Not only do they keep the guano in check but also do a great job of repairing the side walks etc as the whole area is all built on floating raft slabs. Its so bad that the Still Creek bridge near Willington was built on hinged approach ramps that will flex as the road changes throughout the year.

The crows will stay and leave Onni janitorial crews a life long project of pressure washing

I remember living in Wood Street,Toronto many years ago. The pigeon droppings are so brutal that it make the balcony pretty non-usable. Hope crows are better behaved.
