Crazy NY proposal idea: redevelopment LGA Airport into new Amazon campus/high rise neighborhood. Increase capacity at EWR and JFK.
Actually though, I think LA is a top contender. Great universities, desirable city, massive redevelopable sites in southeast quadrant of downtown, decent transit and freeways, unbeatable airport, port, and freight connections, and an absolutely massive workforce. There will also be a future HSR to San Francisco. Also less expensive than NY, SF, Boston.
