Isn't that a standard green in turf? Do they make other green turf?

It seems slightly darker to me than the existing turf at Taylor Field. Could just be my imagination.

It is exposed to UV rays 365 days a year. Sunlight is quite nasty on man made materials. It has to have faded a certain amount.

Did it seem that not all the lights came on?

Love the speed that they got to full brilliancy.

They were only testing the east side lights last night. It appears that all of those lights did come on.

It just seemed to me that there was a string of lights to the left of the picture that flashed and then did not come on. But then again that may have been a reflection off the steel supports when the lights came on.

Anyway, I'm very excited to go to the test event in October.

I love seeing how they use the templates to shave the numbers and symbols into the field and then glue down the numbers and symbols. I wondered how they would sew things in and keep things level across the field. In a lot of the installation videos it doesn't show that they glue things down.

Fascinating stuff.

Hrmm... The interior construction cam is locked in on 1:02pm.

Is when it stops taking pictures like this, or when the cameras fog up, a quality of camera or is it OxBlue? It's kind of frustrating. You don't have these issues at US Bank Stadium or Rogers Place, for example. There are also a lot more cameras at other stadiums/arenas. I don't think that the Oilers would have more people checking out the construction cameras on a daily basis than Roughrider fans.

Also, are they removing the plastic from the chairs now? The northeast upper section is completely uncovered.

All the numbers, hash marks and Rider logos in both end zones. are in. they are working on the stupid soccer penalty areas this am. I guess it is a City-owned facility.

Yeah, I like soccer and get obsessed with it every 4 years during the world cup (and the womens world cup) but yeah, I had the same reaction to the soccer markings; it really mucks up the field. But I suppose all sports (still debate whether soccer is sport or theatre/drama) need to be able to play there.

I was always curious Stormer, how many seats would you estimate are endzone, corner endzone seats from the entire capacity of the stadium?
