So you think there are 25,000 people, (once you take out VIP areas) that will spend $500+ on lower bowl tickets for Egypt and New Zealand, just because it is the World Cup as well as 30,000 that will pay $195 for the Cat 3 upper bowl tickets? For a Canada or a top 10-15 soccer nation, maybe. I just don't see if for the other games.

Especially when you see what the pricing was in Qatar (this pricing is in USD)

Remember, it's not just us locals who will be attempting to buy overpriced tickets to these games.

Finally some encouraging news. This is the most important player for Canada's hopes in the WC

Matthew Scianitti
Moïse Bombito's recent scan revealed his broken leg has healed enough the 25 year old defender starts running Saturday. Running ramped up day-to-day over coming weeks. Hopefully he's back with Nice's 1 team late March. Will he be at March camp? No word, yet

Celtic lead chase for League One ace banging in the goals - as clubs circle strike duo thriving under ex-Man United star
Simon Jones dailymail.co.uk February 24 2026

Celtic are leading the pack of clubs following Plymouth Argyle's prolific Lorent Tolaj and his strike partner Aribim (Bim) Pepple.

Tolaj, who joined from Port Vale in the summer for £1.2million, and Pepple, who signed from Luton Town, have proved a big hit under former Manchester United midfielder Tom Cleverley who is in charge at Argyle.

Between them they have scored 29 goals in all competitions this season with Tolaj claiming the lion's share with 18.

That has alerted scouts from several English sides plus Scottish champions Celtic, who sense a bargain for the summer.

The list is growing every week, however. Goztepe are among a couple of Turkish clubs keen on Pepple, who also has interest from England plus Minnesota United and Montreal in the MLS.

The 23-year-old was born in Kettering but qualifies for Canada and they have maintained a close watching brief on his progress as they consider handing him a full international debut.

Pepple is proving a real bargain as he cost Plymouth just over £250,000 with the deal potentially rising to £600,000. He has eight goals in his last nine games including two in Saturday's 5-2 demolition of Cardiff City, where Tolaj also notched a brace.

Argyle remain in the race for the play-offs, where just six points separate them in 11th from Huddersfield Town in 6th.

They will be hoping their front two can continue their rich vein of form to fire them into contention and suitors will be keeping a close eye on proceedings.
