^I stand corrected. But the logo sure is ugly. I worked for a period of time at Pharmaprix back in the late 80s. Us Anglos called it Pharma-Pricks.

I kind of like their logo... Took me forever to figure out what the hell it was, though.

A new addition to the Beltline right next to Central Memorial park. Not sure where they got the 50's era institution brick from. This condo is called the Park.
Looks like a decent place to fend off the undead in the coming zombie apocalypse.

I actually liked the one in the top picture. The bottom one looks pretty dumpy though. Right out of suburban Minsk.

If it wasn't for the French stop sign I would swear this was Soviet Russia.

Here's some ugly schools from Hamilton.

Scott Street, followed by Sir John A Macdonald. Some ugly concrete bunkers there. At least one's closed and the other is soon to follow. & My personal favourite...

Sherwood Secondary school, and the shitty styrofoam cladding on the sides of the building. This entire school is an eyesore inside and out, I still don't understand why they decided to save this school.

I went to SJAM It was bittersweet when I heard they were closing it down. Great memories there.

A few ugly ones here from the other night...

The former Newfoundland Telecom Building. Abandoned my entire lifetime:

And from the other side (on the far left):

Downtown St. John's by Rabbittownie, on Flickr

My initials are RC but I didn't do it. Stands for Rong Crew, one of the two main grafitti groups in town. We also get some Hub City Vandals tags, which are presumably from Moncton (that's the Hub City).

Behind the rowhouses on the steepest streets are retaining walls. Makes for an unattractive back garden.

The foreground is Kitchener and in the background you can see about 1/6th of the disgusting 5 bedroom towers in Waterloo's University area.

Des Laurentides Blvd in Laval has got to be the ugliest stretch of road in Canada. I'm not even kidding, it's ten times worse than Taschereau:

Also, can't forget Laval's giant spaceship alongside A-15!

yeah, it is yarky. An ex-girlfriend (about 15 yrs ago) of mine worked nearby, and I used to exit at this metro station often.

Wasn't there a plan to redevelop this building into residential units a while back? I think I remember seeing some very nice renders of this whole area. Any plans still in the works?
