Thanks to the multitude of photographers and videographers who capture the rise of our city! You all don't have to but you do and it is very much appreciated.

Agreed! Thank you everyone! Absolutely love seeing the different perspective of buildings from around the city. Always love seeing a new update in any of the threads

Also enjoying this little competition I have with Urbannizer right now

I don't know about competition but I do get jealous at other people photos on here. I miss a lot since I only get downtown about once a month or every other month. Every photographer has a different eye. I enjoy everyone's different view of Austin.

I haven’t lived in Austin for over a decade. I’ve only been back to visit once in 2015, and I’m just amazed how much the city had changed from what I remember.

It's such a nice view from up there. Definitely looks a lot better in person than photos

Haha. Yes it does.

Also, my iPhone and Imgur 'huge thumbnail' photo link don't help... 😅

The view from Doug Sahm Hill in Butler Park last night. The park was very empty last night. The calm before the storm this weekend

Bonus picture of the Rainey Street construction from the bottom of the hill. You can see the Waterline tower poking above the trees now

Yeah, I don't understand why Frost makes such nice buildings with awesome crowns, but they don't build them tall enough to not get blocked by other buildings. I foresee the same thing happening in San Antonio (in about 37 years).

Hopefully, whatever eventually gets built on the post office block will hide it.

Great pictures Urbannizer and Gillynova! Only just got around to seeing them, as the last two times I checked the forum it was down.
