And?

A lot of people are in there for simply having emailed the guy, and he knew basically everyone. Either way it’s totally off topic.

He asked Epstein to bring his "harem" to his private island. It sounds to me like you don't really want to think too hard about this, which is understandable. It's not an easy subject to talk about.

On the upside, this hotel wasn't built with that brand in mind, and rebrands happen all the time... hopefully we won't be seeing that name around for long.

Back to the block behind the Russell building, I am really excited to see the plans for that. The gulch, at least in one spot, will be completely filled in between Castleberry Hill and South Downtown, which could mean a lot for bringing some vibrancy back there.

We got the first images of the next development parcel of Centennial Yards, which is "European-inspired"

Nice. What happened to the two story hotel that was supposed to be across the street from the firestation in castle berry hill?

Since these are not condos, I would rather have the Amtrak station instead.

There's plenty of space left for an Amtrak station north of MLK and south of Marietta Street. I am still holding out for the lot north of the constitution building, because there's a punchout panel under Forsyth that would allow an underground connection straight into Five Points Station. I keep hearing someone is trying to build a data center there... truly hoping that mess falls through. It would be such a waste.

I LOVE this design. Finally something sleek. I am so over the cheap looking multi facade designs. Wish is was taller, but other than that, this design is 10 out of 10.

Nice design. Might be a little overkill with the CY branding so big. Feel like there's enough of that already. There's not huge signs all over Hudson Yards that says HUDSON YARDS lol

Was thinking the same. The signage cheapens the look.

I could be wrong, but that logo is probably just a placeholder. It will probably be the name of the building in reality. Weird thing to get hung up on, anyway.

"The logo is tacky"

"I wish it was taller"

"I'd rather have a train station"

This forum, man

Personally, I have no notes. It looks like a fantastic addition to an area that desperately needs an identity.

Tangential to this discussion, but the World Cup seems to have elevated South Downtown to a totally different tier. Hopefully this can continue beyond just this event. Definitely for United Games at least, perhaps for other sporting events too.

If they were smart at that new park in South Downtown etc they should show for example during football season show the college games on that tv screen all day Saturday and NFL Games all day Sunday. The Center should do the same. Also with the NBA season, etc.

If it's a big concert have a pre party in South Downtown.

I mean they are going to have enough gov workers supporting it during the week and they have to fill up the businesses outside of that timeframe so that is what I would do if I were them

It's a great little park that will hopefully attract regular visitors. Within 1 block of the park, El Tesoro, Brewhouse, Glide Pizza and Broad Street BBQ should help bring people in, especially when some of the apartments are filled. It's also extremely easy (although sometimes unnerving) to get to from the Garnett MARTA station.

2 +/- weeks before opening

Last night for the USA/Belgium match
