Yes it will be lit up like those towers in Asia with 1034’ projected onto the entire building.

NOICE

Also, I wasn't born yet but it's crazy to me that Houston built those 3 high-rises in the same time frame

In all fairness, four of those five "renderings" were illustrated by the same individual.

As it has been mentioned previously...those are simple diagrams. Plus, the final height of Waterline has not been updated on the Diagrams Page.

Also, I do not believe the diagrams are quite accurate when comparing width of the buildings.

Those are really fun to look at and with which to play around. But, I wouldn't put too much stock in them as accurate representations.

I honestly don't see this building looking shorter than it is. It's a tall building no matter how you look at it, whether your driving into DT from the south where Waterline shoots up above a bunch of 500-600 footers or from the north where it dominates the view from I35. I actually like how it looks with the skyline as a whole. Remember 6X is higher up, that helps at least to keep Waterline from looking outrageously tall and keeps the skyline to scale.

I keep thinking I wish this thing was 1200+ ft. We won't be getting another supertall anytime soon (perhaps ever).

I too, think it would look better (with this specific design). Just like Frost would look better at 800'. As for another supertall - never say "ever." Another shall rise sooner than you think...

I am so confused. Is Waterline really clad in limestone??? Like all the white strips are limestone? I've also wondered if the orange is actually copper and will eventually patina to a lovely mint green ....maybe wishful thinking tho.

Speaking of the facade, the vents at the top of the office section just piss me off so much
